Maxine Stagg Johnson, 91, a retired clinical social worker, educator, and administrator, died November 26, 2016. Maxine came to Arizona in 1963 after receiving her B.A. degree from University of Missouri. She earned her Masters of Social Work degree from ASU in 1965. She then held administrative teaching and supervisory roles for various agencies including the V. A. Hospital in Phoenix, ASU in Tempe and UTA in Arlington, Texas. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Ken E. Johnson, two brothers and a stepson. She leaves two stepchildren and three grandchildren.
