Maxine Freund, 91, passed away on December 20, 2014. She attended UCLA where she met her husband, John Ernst Freund who taught at ASU. Dr. Freund became a prominent author of college textbooks on statistics. He passed away in 2004. Maxine is survived by two sons. A memorial will be held early in 2015, at Valley Presbyterian Church.
