Mary Catherine (Dye) Baker

Mary Catherine (Dye) Baker, 86, passed away on July 1, 2013. Mary graduated from Univ. of Nebraska with honors in education. After her husband finished his Ph.D. in 1955, they moved with their children to Arizona where Bob was a professor at ASU and Mary was librarian and director of volunteers for the Arizona Foundation for Blind Children. In 1968, they followed Bob's work to Southern California, settling in Palos Verdes Estates, where they lived for 45 years. Mary is predeceased by her husband, Robert Lee Baker. She is survived by two children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and other relatives. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
