Mary Palma Bender, 80, passed away on November, 2, 2013. Mary and Carl Bender married in 1980 and moved to Arizona. Mary retired from ASU in 1997.  She is survived by her husband Carl, two sisters, six children, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on November 15, 2013 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, Arizona.
