Marjorie Evans, 89, passed away on June 11, 2013. Marjorie attended the University of Washington and State College of Washington at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington where she received her nursing degree. She earned her Master's degree from ASU. She volunteered regularly at the Friendship Village Health Center, was a docent at the ASU Art Museum and worked as a volunteer at the Art Museum Gift Shop for many years. Marjorie is survived by a sister, four children, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A brother and husband, Lawrence Jack Evans, Jr. predeceased her. Marjorie will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery, alongside her husband at a later date. A Memorial Service will be held at Friendship Village Skirm Auditorium on July 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Arc of Tempe, (www.tempearc.org), P.O.
