Marie Griffin, 49, passed away on August 15, 2016. She is an alumna of Santa Clara University. Upon completing a Ph.D. in Justice Studies at ASU, she joined the faculty of ASU's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice in 1996. Marie is survived by her husband, John Hepburn, professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs; their twins, her mother, step-father, two sisters, a brother, two step-daughters and four grandchildren. Marie's father predeceased her.
