Marcia L. Anderson

ASU Library - 1986-2016

Marcia Anderson

Marcia graduated from the University of Michigan, and went on to earn her Master of Science in Library Science from Wayne State University.

Marcia was fortunate enough to have a long, rewarding career as a librarian at Arizona State University from 1986-2016 that she was truly passionate about. In 2016, she retired and moved to Prescott.

She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Geneva Anderson. She is survived by her husband Vincent Sferruzza, two brothers and two sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, three step-children and grandchildren, as well as many treasured, loving friends and colleagues from ASU.

A private celebration of Marcia's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Banner Alzheimer's Foundation, give.bannerhealth.com/alzheimers, or to the Arizona Humane Society.
