The sky was blue, no one showed up in a toga, and the Spring Fling was enjoyed by all. Mary and her team of Partha Dasgupta and Trudy Perez delivered an enjoyable late morning event. The ramada had festive balloons and the tables were covered with colorful table coverings. Each table had two, small, colorful flowerpots for decoration – very festive.

Thirty-one registered for the event. There were many returnees from December but there were also a goodly number of new attendees. Joyce Hartman-Diaz managed to steer clear of the trains this time and arrived in good time. As was the case in December there was a amazing collection of food, enough to feed at least twice the number of attendees.

These outdoor events have turned out to be fun and hopefully the Special Events committee will plan some more of the same.
