On Saturday, March 23rd, 20 ASURA members and guests enjoyed the very entertaining Rhythm Cats at the Silver Star Theater, one of the east Valley's premier dinner and show venues.

After enjoying a hearty buffet including several entrees and sides, a variety of salads and a chocolate cakes [with chocolate buttercream filling], the huge audience was ready to enjoy the show.

They preformed the “Malt Shop” Oldies from the '60s and '70s. This was indeed a variety show to be enjoyed.. I over heard one woman comment “I can't remember what I ate for breakfast, but I remembered the words to all those songs from the 60s!!” Yes, there was also plenty of singing from the audience and a bit of dancing as well.

Intermission included a stop for ice cream. The show lasted over two hours and was heartily enjoyed by all, judging from the standing ovation. For additional information, check the SilverStarTheater.com website or google Rhythm Cats AZ.
