Lola B. Dawkins, 102, died on March 18, 2016. She attended Texas Christian University, but later received her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from University of Texas at Austin. She taught at ASU and then moved back to Texas with her husband, Nathaniel, where she was a professor at Texas Western College, now the University of Texas at El Paso. Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel T. Dawkins, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by four nephews and two nieces.
