Linda Lou Kinney
Computer Operator - 1982-1987
Linda Lou Kinney attended business school to train for a career in business. She worked off and on in medical records and medical billing for a variety of hospitals and doctors until finally leaving the Buffalo area in 1982. Linda relocated with her family to the Phoenix AZ area and was soon working again, this time as a computer operator for Arizona State University. After some 5 years in this position with ASU, she moved on to work for APS at the Palo Verde Nuclear generating station once again as a computer operator. Life then took Linda to the West coast and several locations in southern California, where she continued her career in medical and insurance billing and eventually returned to higher education at California State University in Fullerton. After several positions with CSFU she settled on a work from home job and continued her computer work in medical transcription. Linda Finally retired and returned to the Phoenix area and eventually retired from the transcription game as well. She is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Husband of 52 years Theodore J Kinney. Funeral Mass was held on December 13, 2022. |
