Leonard D Goodstein, 89, passed away on July 20, 2016. Len came to Arizona in 1974 when he was invited to join the ASU faculty as Chair of the Department of Psychology. Leaving ASU in 1980, he turned away from an academic career, but never away from psychology. He lived mainly in Washington, DC where, among a variety of activities, he was the CEO of the American Psychological Association for several years until returning to Scottsdale in 2010. He will be missed by his wife, Jeanette, two sons, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren plus nieces and nephews.
