Kenton Eugene Ross
Accounting
Dr. Kenton Eugene Ross earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Oklahoma State University and later a doctoral degree from UCLA. While serving in the Army Reserves, he was rising through the ranks from University Professor (Arizona State University, and Oklahoma State University) to Department Head (University of North Florida) to College Dean (Texas A&M Commerce) while co-authoring accounting textbooks and farming on the side "for fun". He also served as the International President of Association for Systems Management, providing him the opportunity to work with people who applied the principles and concepts he and others were teaching at the university. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother and sister-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Eula, his three children and their spouses, his four Grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew. A memorial service was held on January 1, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help fund Ringwood student scholarships. Checks should be made payable to CFO.
