Keith M. Greko, 90, passed away June 18, 2013. Keith leaves behind three children, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother. Keith was a WWII veteran who served in the US Army's 104th Infantry Division in Europe where he received a Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars. Afterwards, Keith continued his love of music in jazz as a pianist and composer playing with some of the greats of his time. He went on to produce multiple albums in a career spanning five decades prior to his retirement in 1995. He was a Professor of Music at ASU and a member of ASCAP. He was an active member in Jazz N AZ performing regularly at Sedona Jazz on the Rocks and the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. In his later years, Keith only made special appearances while he continued writing music mostly composed and dedicated to his immediate family and close friends. Mass will be held on Saturday, 6/22/2013, at 10AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale. A reception hosted by the family will follow at 11:30AM at Messinger Mortuary at 7601 E Indian School Road. Following, there will be a committal service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa to lay Keith at rest beside his wife, Charlotte. (Source: ArizGustafsonona Republic)
