Kay Mahaffey (age unknown) died September 16, 2019. Kay earned a Bachelor of Art in Design and Bachelor of Science in Education, University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Master of Arts in Design and Education, University of Washington. She was an artist, teacher, professor, public speaker, exhibiting artist and designer. Kay was an Assistant Professor at ASU’s College of Design, and Program Chair, Interior Design at Northwest College of Art. Corporate endeavors were in facilities planning and construction, MeraBank and Puget Sound Energy, manager, facilities relocation. Kay is survived by two sisters, a brother, two daughters and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Virgil. Celebration of Life is to be held on December 21, 2019.
