Kathryn Kay Harris, 74, passed away on June 29, 2013. After she graduated from high school, she moved to Tempe and worked at ASU in the records department. Throughout her working career she worked as a secretary in a business setting for various companies, but her favorite job was working with children in the Cartwright Elementary School District in Phoenix. Survivors include her mother, her son, two sisters, a brother, three stepsiblings and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, a nephew, her stepfather and stepsister. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5, at the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with the funeral beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery. (Source: ASU Foundation)
