Dr. Justo S. Alarcon earned multiple degrees, including two master's degrees and a doctorate.

He was Professor emeritus at Arizona State University. His professional career as a university professor allowed him to touch the lives of countless people. Justo was affectionately known as "El Profe" and was much loved by his students, university faculty and staff, as well as others in education and human rights.

As a prolific writer, Justo's mind never stopped.  He loved beauty which he recognized in fine arts, his gift as a pianist, and classical music.

In addition to his parents, Justo was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Elvira Alarcon; a son and his wife; and two sisters.
