Julia Hancock graduated from Northland Pioneer College.

During her two-year battle with cancer, she continued to work as a Financial Aid Analyst with GateWay Community College. She previously worked at Northland Pioneer College and Arizona State University.

She loved working with and serving on the NOW Committee at GateWay. She loved her coworkers, students, student-athletes, and coaches and was a big supporter of the GateWay sports programs.Julia was a mother to EVERYONE, everyone in her circle was treated as family.Julia loved sports (Go Steelers!,) the Watt brothers, organized and true crime, and celebrity scandals. She was a skilled crafter and enjoyed making baby quilts, sewing, cooking, card making/stamping, fishing, camping at the family ranch, and traveling with her mom. Mostly, Julie enjoyed her family. Her biggest joys were her nieces and nephews. They were her why and the reason she fought so hard.

Julia was preceded in death by her Grandparents, a niece, a brother in law and a sister in law.  

Julia is survived by her parents, grandma, four brothers, three sisters and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services were held on September 10, 2022.
