M. Joseph Talavera, 87, passed away on September 7, 2015. Joe is survived by his wife Veronica. Veronica retired from Information Technology at ASU in 1997, and is a member of ASURA. Joe is also survived by a sister, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Joe retired from Salt River Project after 40 years of service. He served as Director of the Salvation Army in Apache Junction. A graveside service was held on September 14, 2015 at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
