Joseph R. DeMasi

Joseph R. DeMasi (age not given) passed away October 2, 2016. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Joe was a decorated police officer who patrolled New York’s Central Park on horseback for over 24 years. He spent more than 60 years as one of America’s finest men in Blue. After moving to Arizona, he was head of security at the ASU Art Museum, worked at the Adobe Liquor Store, drove the Fountain Hills students with special needs to school and was an active member of the Marshal Department and the Posse. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Adele. He is survived by two sons, a daughter, sister, nephew, five grandchildren and his faithful police dog.
