John Darwin Pucetas, 59, passed away June 15, 2013. John was President of SiteTek Financial Arts, a value engineering consulting firm for specialized properties. His work involved planning economic strategies for complex construction, renovation and historic preservation projects in places such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Mammoth Caves, Crater Lake, Maricopa County Flood Control District and the Navajo reservation. John earned a B.S. in Architecture from Ohio State University. He was a Life Certified Value Specialist (CVS) and a LEED-AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). As a Registered Architect with specialties in value engineering and environmentally friendly design strategies, John worked in facility economics, project management and architectural design in both the public and private sectors. He was employed with firms in Philadelphia, Reading and Allentown, Pa., and later Tempe and Scottsdale, Arizona, before starting his own company in 2002. He was an adjunct professor at ASU and a member of the board of trustees of the former Ecosa Institute at Prescott College. Survivors include his wife, Pamela, his parents, a brother and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of John's life will be held at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills, Saturday, June 22, at 2PM. The family wishes to thank the many compassionate bystanders who gave aid and comfort to John and his wife on June 15.
