John H. Jakob, Jr.,80, passed away May 19, 2011. John graduated from Columbia University with an advanced degree in architecture. John was a distinguished professor of architecture with ASU for 25 years. John and wife, Catherine, recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary, and are much loved by their five children and six grandchildren. John's architectural firm: Design Associates, designed and built many commercial and residential developments here in the valley through the years.
