Joan E. Moyer, 85, passed away August 27, 2017. She received her Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland, M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University and her B.S. in Early Education from Kutztown University. Joan was a professor at ASU before retiring. Her love of travel and teaching took her around the world, including Beirut, Lebanon, where she lived and taught at the Beirut College for Women. Survivors include a sister and many nieces and nephews. Services were Private.
