Dr. Jeanette A. Davy, 59, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2013. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent, Minn. Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery in Caledonia, Minn. Jeanette graduated from Viterbo College in La Crosse, with a bachelor of science in chemistry, completed graduate courses at the University of Wyoming, and served as a supervisor with the Salvation Army in La Crosse. She earned a doctorate in management at the University of Arizona in 1986. Dr. Davy became a university professor, focusing on teaching, business consulting, and research, beginning at ASU and serving at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, for 18 years. She earned the status of Professor of Management in 2000, with her distinguished record of teaching, research, and service to the university and business communities. In 2009, she was invited and completed a residency as a member of the Oxford Round Table at Oxford University in England. Following an accident in 2010, Dr. Davy continued academic research and published several articles in the fields of management and organizational leadership. She was awarded Professor Emerita status in 2012, at Wright State University and her research is continuing with coauthors and students. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her mother, three sisters, three brothers, nieces and nephews and other kinfolk. Memorials are suggested to the Jeanette A.
