A full house of 65 ASURA members enjoyed an interesting and highly informative seminar on "Living Options for Seniors" on January 23 at the ASU Community Services Building. Martha Batista and Stephen Chung--President and Managing Partner of Assisted Transition, a professional senior living and care referral company located in Scottsdale--presented information on options ranging from independent living to skilled nursing facilities, and everything in between! Their excellent powerpoint presentation included detailed descriptions of each category, comparisons, cost ranges, and tips on how to choose what's right for the individual. The audience was clearly engaged, as there was a lively exchange of questions and answers throughout and lots of positive feedback from the audience at the close of the seminar.
