James Francis Procaccini, 59, of Mesa, Arizona was welcomed into the arms of his heavenly Father on May 3, 2010 after a courageous 7 year fight with cancer. James was born and raised in New York and graduated from St. John's University. He had a life-long love for learning and a teacher's heart. For the last 14 years, he taught Writing in the English Dept. at Arizona State University. James touched the lives of many and will be remembered dearly by those he has left behind. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Samuel; his mother, Margaret; brothers, Carmine and Stephen; sisters Jane Depeal and Tina Rangel.
