Spring 2009

I was born and raised in Mentone, a small town in Southern California. I moved to Arizona in late 1976 and married Judy, my California sweetheart in 1977... we have lived here since. Judy graduated from ASU and still works there. We have two sons James, age 26 and Jordan, age 21.  I worked for Tempe School District from 1978 until 2005 when I retired as the Director of Information Systems. I came to ASU and worked for 3.5 years as a Systems Analyst in the University Student Initiatives Technology Services department. I retired from there in November after completing 30 years in the Arizona State Retirement system. I enjoy Arizona's flora and fauna and have hiked over much  of the state. I also like bicycling, woodworking, fishing and scuba diving.
