I am very honored to be nominated for the board of the ASURA. For 32 years, I was a member of the ASU community as Associate Professor of French and Linguistics in the School of International Letters and Cultures. During my time here, I have served as Faculty Head of French and Italian, as Graduate Director for French, and finally, as Associate Director for Administration in 2020. Moreover, I have considerable experience working in the University Senate, as a Senator, as Tempe Campus President from 2011-2014 and finally as Senate President in 2014-2015. I’ve also served on many committees and boards.

I am hoping to bring my experience to the ASURA but also to continue to learn and grow. This is an exciting opportunity to continue to serve the ASU community.
