Hazel Burniece Jones,  90, passed away on January 11, 2011. In 1929 her family resettled in Mesa, AZ where her father ran a service station on the Apache Trail until the mid 40s. Hazel worked as a food service worker, first with the Tempe Public Schools and then with State Farm Insurance, First Interstate Bank and finally with ASU. Her husband Burke passed away in 1997. She is survived by three daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
