Gerald D. "Jerry" Farr

Gerald D. “Jerry" Farr, 75, passed away recently. Golf was the center of activity in the Farr household. He and his two daughters, Heather and Missy, spent countless hours at Papago Golf Course. Heather went on to be the top Arizona woman golfer, the #1 recruit for college golf and onto the LPGA tour. Missy followed right behind with all her sisters' accomplishments, but chose coaching instead of the tour. Missy Farr-Kaye is the Associate Head Women's Golf Coach at ASU. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sharon, daughter Missy, three grandsons plus nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Heather and his sister. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix. A Reception will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sun Devil Women's Golf Program through the Sun Devil Club. Please send donations to: Sun Devil Club re: Lauren Bird, P.O.
