Gerard Raymond Bougie, 88, passed away on July 11, 2013. During World War II, Gerard served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1945. Gerard was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a grandson. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Hubert), two sons, a daughter, six grandchildren, one great grandson, two brothers and four sisters. He worked as a sexton at Notre Dame Church in Springvale for many years until he and wife joined their children in Arizona in 1981. He worked at ASU for 10 years before retiring in 1992 and was a Eucharistic Minister from 1973 to 2007. A memorial service was held Monday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy's Parish in Mesa, Ariz.
