George Schatzki, 84, died on December 27, 2017. He was an esteemed Emeritus Professor and interim Dean at the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law at ASU since 2000, Dean at the University of Connecticut School of Law (1984-2000) and Dean and Professor (1979-1984) at the University of Washington School of Law. He was a Professor of Law and Associate Dean at the University of Texas School of Law (1965-1979). He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Schatzki (nee Kelley), three sons, a brother and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be private, and a memorial service will be announced in a few weeks.
