Genevieve received a secretarial degree from McIntosh Junior College. In 1949 she traveled to Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona where she worked to help put her husband thru college.

Gen is survived by three daughters; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Gen was predeceased by her parents, husband, three sisters: Ann, Lillian, Ruth, their spouses; and brothers-in-law: Richard and Lawrence. 

To honor Genevieve's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to privately celebrate Genevieve's memory in your own way. The family will gather to celebrate her life at a later time.
