Gene D. Phillips, 91, passed away on June 4, 2015. Gene earned an Emeritus of Education and attended Butler University and Indiana University. He was a professor at ASU, Boston University, and a boys' school in England. He was also a member of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife, Sarah Coultas Phillips of 67 years, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings. A Celebration of Life was on June 8, 2015 at Bono Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton Lions Club.
