Gary C. Anders, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, 65, died on February 17, 2016. He earned his doctorate degree in economics from University of Notre Dame. He taught at George Mason University, the University of Alaska, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and ASU. He also was a Fulbright Scholar and Kellogg Foundation Fellow. Through these programs, he taught at schools in Mexico, Japan, England, and Morocco. Gary's interest in international studies translated to his 22 years of teaching at ASU West where he organized trips for students to travel abroad and to learn from businesses in other cultures. Gary is survived by his wife, Kathy, a son, a daughter, and a grandson.
