Frances Schwager (Huhnke) Knudsen, 88, passed away on February 21, 2015. Frances was dedicated to the nursing/teaching profession for 43 years. She graduated Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing in 1946 and continued through PhD., ASU, 1979. After 25 years of teaching nursing, she retired and was honored with Professor Emeritus status, ASU, 1989. Frances is survived by five children, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two sisters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kirk, and a brother. A private memorial will be held at the Grand Canyon in May.
