February 2021 Seminar - Brain Health & Aging Well: A Focus on Diet

   

Dr. Carol Johnston presented how our diet can affect our brain function and health.  She divided the presentation into three parts:  

  • Diet  recommendations for healthy minds where she addressed foods that we should be eating and those we should be avoiding and why.
  • Nutrients where she addressed the importance of specific vitamins, hormones and other nutrients that are critical to promote a healthy brain. 
  • Food for thought where she presented other things that impact our brain health.
