Elsie Evelyn Sawyer, 89, passed away on April 28, 2016. In 1963 she moved to Arizona where she was employed for 20 years as the secretary to the Dean of Fine Arts at ASU. In 1979 she was awarded Employee of the Year at ASU. Elsie was preceded in death by two brothers and her husband, Doug Sawyer. She is survived by a son, a daughter, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
