Elizabeth Anne Minchew
Architecture - 25 years
Liz graduated from Coronado High School in 1978, Arizona State University, studying Interior Architecture, in 1983 and the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016. She began her career at DFD Cornoyer Hedrick in 1985 and went on to serve as the Director of Interior Design at Allen+Philip Architects/Interiors and Head of Design at WanderJaunt. She was also a dedicated teacher and taught for over 25 years at Arizona State University. Liz had an infectious enthusiasm for life. She loved long bike rides, playing her ukulele, and reading a recipe and then not following any of it. She is survived by her husband Carl, her three siblings, her stepfather and her six children as well as many honorary sons and daughters. In lieu of flowers donations in Liz's memory can be made to Alice Waters' foundation, the Edible Schoolyard Project at https://edibleschoolyard.org/give. |
