Elinor "Ellie" Lois Winkles, 86, passed away on September 7, 2017. Ellie's first job was as a teacher at First Lutheran School, grades 1-3, in Burbank, California. During this time, she began dating Bobby Winkles, her husband of sixty-four years. Ellie graduated from ASU with a BA in Elementary Education in 1971. Bobby was ASU baseball coach and instructor from 1958 to 1972. He lead the team to national championships in 1965, 1967 and 1969.
