Dr. Eleanor Christine French with multiple undergrad degrees, she achieved a PhD in Public Administration from Syracuse University, Maxwell College and went on to teach graduate studies.

She championed philanthropic pursuits as an instructor at DePaul University, Chicago, and finally, at Grand Valley State University, Michigan.

She worked tirelessly with the Navajo Nation while teaching at ASU to develop their first remote adult continuing education program.  She would do the same for the Arizona Department of Corrections years later.

She supported charity in all forms and kinds throughout her life.

She is survived by a daughter and her close friends. The family suggests that any donations made to any charity in her name would be welcome.
