Eleanor "Ellie" Marian Akins, 81, passed away on August 4, 2014. Ellie worked in the Foreign Language Department at ASU for 22 years. She is survived by five children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family members. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Tempe First United Methodist Church, 215 E. University Dr. Tempe, AZ on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11am.
