Eileen Yellin, 60, passed away on July 22, 2016. She earned a B.Ed. in Special Education and an M.A. in Education from UNM, and a Ph.D in Education and Justice Studies from ASU. Eileen began teaching at Tempe High School in 1990. She worked tirelessly to serve the students in her Special and General Education classes. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at MCC, ASU, and NAU. She is survived by two brothers, two nieces, two nephews and other relatives. Tempe High School is creating a scholarship in her name to ensure students have the opportunity to follow their dreams.
