Deacon Edward H. Hickcox,86, died Sunday, April 29, 2012. He graduated from New Mexico State University and continued his education at ASU where he received his Master's degree. He was predeceased by a son. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha, a sister, five sons, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. For 27 years he served in various administrative positions at ASU before retiring in 1987. He was Executive Director in the 1970’s and 1980’s of Auxiliary Services including Student Housing, Bookstore, Memorial Union, and Food Service. He was ordained a Deacon in May 1974 for the Diocese of Phoenix, serving at parishes including St Mary's Parish in Chandler, Resurrection Parish in Tempe and San Francisco de Asis Parish in Flagstaff.
