Edward E. Scannell, CMP, CSP, first came to ASU in 1964 where he served as Coordinator of Executive Programs -- and also taught Marketing -- in the College of Business. Previously, he taught at the University of Northern Iowa.

Active in professional organizations, Ed has served as National President for ASTD (American Society for Trng. & Development), MPI (Meeting Professionals Intl.) and NSA (National Speakers Association). He has written or co-authored twenty books in the fields of business and Human Resource Development.

He left ASU in 1992 to become the Director of the Center for Professional Development and Training in Scotttsdale.
