Good news for ASRS retirement folks. Yesterday Jeri Meeks, ASURA Legislature Liaison chair, alerted me that on November 15th:

the Arizona State Retirement System posted an important update for retirees on their website.  Beginning July of 2022, qualified retirees will receive a Permanent Benefit Increase (PBI) to their monthly annuities. The last time retirees received a PBI was in 2005! The increase will be set at $11.49 for each year of service a retiree accumulated at retirement. More information on this exciting announcement can be found here. 

This has been a long time in coming.
