Dorothy Anne Doyle

Dorothy "Dottie" Anne (Strom) Doyle, 86, passed away on August 14, 2011. At the outbreak of World War II, Dottie moved to Washington DC where she worked in the offices of the FBI. She met Roy Doyle at a USO Dance, and at the end of the war, they married and then returned to his home in Arizona. Roy Doyle was a professor in the College of Education at ASU. He passed away in 2004. Dottie was an active member of the ASU Faculty Wives Association. She was a three time Shalimar Women's Golf Champion. Dottie is survived by a son and two grandsons.
