While in Arizona Donald worked for Arizona State University in the maintenance department.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 58 years he was involved with Project Children and he was a Hibernia. He was a devoted Catholic and loved his Irish heritage.

Donald is survived by his three daughter, his son, seven grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren. 

A Memorial funeral Mass was held September 24, 2022.
