Donald Morris Bahr, 76, passed away on October 30, 2016. He was educated at Harvard University. Don's interest in indigenous cultures became a life-long immersion into the O'odham, their language, their songs and stories, especially in the village of Santa Rosa. In 1967 he joined the faculty of the Anthropology Department at ASU and retired as Professor Emeritus in 2006. Don is survived by his wife, Adelaide (Dilli), a son, daughter, five grandchildren and a brother.
