Don Amos, 91, passed away on July 28, 2021. Don served as a Navy corpsman at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, Calif., and enjoyed playing professional baseball for the Navy during the Korean War. After serving his country, Don graduated from ASU. He was a flight instructor and owner of Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and taught aeronautics for ASU. Don is preceded in death by a son, a sister and brother. He is survived by his wife Mary, three daughters, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two brothers. The date for a celebration of Don's life is pending. The family requests any donations to be given to Snowline Hospice (Source: ASU Foundation)
